About ScorePath

ScorePath is a free, independent simulator for the 2026 World Cup. Fill in the results and instantly see, with the real FIFA rules, who advances to the knockout stage โ€” including the ranking of the best third-placed teams and every tiebreaker. The platform is completely free and requires no account or registration.

What we do

We build tools that let football fans play out the tournament themselves: all 104 matches, 48 teams and 12 groups, from the group stage to the final. The simulator applies all official FIFA rules automatically: points, goal difference, tiebreakers and the ranking of the best third-placed teams. Share your simulation with a single link โ€” no account, no download needed. We also publish articles, analysis, records and stories about the 2026 World Cup.

Why ScorePath?

Football fans want to understand the tournament, not just watch it. ScorePath gives you the tools to simulate: what if Argentina doesn't make it out of the group stage? What if the Netherlands reach the final? By filling in match results yourself, you immediately see how tiebreakers work, which third-placed teams advance and what the bracket looks like. That insight makes watching the World Cup richer.

Accuracy

The simulator follows the official FIFA rules for the 2026 World Cup, including the tiebreaker order for group rankings and the system for the best third-placed teams. In the event of an exact tie on the cut-off line between advancing and being eliminated, the user can set the order manually โ€” exactly as happens in real World Cup scenarios. Blog articles are based on publicly available statistics and historical data. We correct mistakes as quickly as possible after they are reported.

Who is behind it

Articles are published under the name ScorePath Editorial โ€” a small team that maintains the simulator and writes the blog. We are not affiliated with FIFA, a sports federation or any other official organisation. ScorePath is an independent project, built out of a love for football and data.
